So for the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to get my two sisters to go out to lunch with me. Considering Tricia lives about 20 minutes away & Lara is my next door neighbor, I really don't see either of them very often, & with me leaving for Japan in about a month, I wanted us to come together & spend a little time with just the three of us. It's been difficult because Lara sometimes has classes on the weekends & Tricia sometimes has work. But! Today we were finally able to. :) After some running around (Lara wanted to go to this auction thing in Manhattan, but it turned out to be yesterday instead of today), we had lunch at Outback Steakhouse (I really like their GF ribs & sweet potato!!) After we were finished, we went to Best Buy where I got a can of compressed air to hopefully help with the overheating problem my laptop has been having. We split ways after, & I went with Lara to do some more shopping.
They're both a little off-center (like everyone in my family, hahah), but I love my sisters a lot, & I am definitely going to miss them while I'm in Japan. :)
BTW, totally random, but Mister 750 piece puzzle of the New York skyline can go suck it. :| (SamErikAma - if you ever finish it, I want to see a picture! Thank you again for letting me be your house guest. :])
Anyway, when I came home after my running around, my parents had put up a little
surprise! I'd mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I'd like to put my trophies up in my room - they've been packed away in boxes since 2006 when we moved. I'm missing the largest one, still, but we have no idea where it is... I also need to figure out where I want to put my medals - they'd look awkward on the shelf, but I have a lot, so I'd like to put them up somewhere. Anyway, so there's my... ::breath:: bowling-tae kwon do-volleyball-basketball-cheerleading trophies. :) All my little babies. <3 (In the process, my parents took down my Starry Night painting & my SHINee poster, so now I need to figure out where those two are going to go...)
