Tuesday night, I went to Casa Beehndesu & Erik, learned how to play Monopoly the correct way but had have that knowledge replace any arithmatic skills I had in my brain, and then went to see Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince with Jason, Andrea, Zachary, & Andrea's cousin, Nicholas, in Aurora.
For the movie... As a movie-goer, I thought it was really good, but as a Happy Potter fan, I didn't like it. The cinematics were great, and they did a good job with the bare-bones of the story, but I think they just edited too much out and changed too much. I can understand the editing, but changing storylines? They are definitely going to be explaining a lot in the last two movies. (I wonder what they're going to name them... Deathly Hollors 1 & 2?)
My family is planning on going to see the movie sometime soon, so hopefully I can tag along and watch it again. I tend to feel better about the HP movies after I watched them more than once. ;)
After being recommended it by both Ashley & Beehndesu, I finally honkered down (I love that phrase!) & read it.
The plot was like threads being woven together - sometimes you saw an end to a thread but not knowing when and where it would connect with another thread.
The story was amazing - the characters seemed real even though the plot edged on fantasy, and the events really seemed like they were given in order even though time jumped around a lot. ;o; It's been about an hour since I finished, & I'm still teary eyed!
IMBD says the movie is coming out in August!!
& oh man, the ending... You knew what was going to happen, but it still hurt so much when Henry died. ;o;
