(no subject)
Despite this being the weekend before finals, it's been really enjoyable! Friday was the last day of classes, & they all pretty much passed without too much strife. (In Japanese, we seriously just sat around and looked at the Asahi shinbun for the whole class.)
I also managed to pretty much write my sakubun in East Asian Thought, so after class, I took what I had written then & added a bit more to finish it up. Considering I still have this gross final paper for East Asian Thought still looming over my head, I'm glad I finished Mr. Sakubun.
Anyway! Friday night was also Tsuyoshi's farewell party. I didn't stay incredibly long, but I did get to see the goodbye video some people put together for him. It was so sweet! Afterwards, I went back to room, worked a little more, & then Ashley, Vicky, & I traversed down to Mikey's room to get our Rock Band on. We've hit a point where in order to gain fans for some of the songs, we have to play on Expert. We tried a few of the easier songs on Expert in the Quick Play, & we all did really well! Bass isn't too bad from what I can tell - there are a couple of things they stepped up from Hard, but nothing horrible. After Rock Band-ing a while, we went back to our room & chilled for a while.
Saturday was happiness in the form of not having to step in Kaufman at all during the day. ♥ Mikey & I had breakfast at the Egg Harbor Cafe, & then later on in the day, the two of us plus Ashley went to Stir Crazy for dinner. Both places were so gooooood.
& now today. I really had some bad procrastination yesterday, & only got about 3 pages out of at least 12 done on my paper, so today I definitely need to push myself. I start work at 2 & have 3 hours there, so hopefully some major kick-ass writing will get done.
