I think I beat my reading record with this one. I did the whole reading-all-day-marathon for Half Blood Prince, too, but I can't remember how long it actually took me to read it.
Just wow. I can't believe it's over, y'know? I was first introduced to the Harry Potter series back when I was in 5th or 6th grade or so when one of the first graders we were supposed to spend time with asked me to read them some of Sorceror's Stone. I read a bit that day but didn't really pick it up until a little bit before Goblet of Fire was released. I raced the read the first 3 so I could get ready for the 4th. Ever since then, I've been a Harry Potter fan.
Anyway, here are a few of my thoughts:
Albus Severus Potter is possibly the absolute worst name to choose for a kid!
I think my favorite part was when Harry finds out that he must die in order for Voldemort to die. So dramatic!
I'm so happy JKR decided with the whole Ron/Hermione thing. I still don't really like Ginny, but I like her more than Cho, so I guess it's okay.
I'm also glad that the Malfoys turned out to be okay. Well, awkwardly okay but still okay.
So pretty much the whole HP fandom called it with Harry being a Horcrux. Ha!
Draco was starting to bald? LOL. I wonder who he married...
I just finished reading, so I'm sure once I really give it some thought I'll have more to say. I'm still processing~~
I just really can't believe its over... Knowing the ending to something that you've waited so long for is always so unsatisfying.
Now to go back to reality. );
BTW - I so hope someone takes a crack at the fact that Harry had Draco's wand - so many dirty jokes!
[EDIT]
Who am I kidding? I don't want it to be over! T____T
