(no subject)
Beehndesu, Andrea, Jessica, Jason, Evil, Zac, Sal, & I all went to Hollywood Boulevard last night to see OotP. I'd never been there before, but now I definitely want to go again! It's a dinner & movie place with big comfy chairs (not much space to actually move them around in...) & really good food.
When we got there, it was majorly packed with lines & people wandered trying to get somewhere - the Phelps twins (aka, the Weasley twins) have been there since Tuesday, signing autographs & taking pictures with fans. We didn't get our pictures taken with them, but we did get a couple glimpses of them on our struggle to the theater - they're pretty hot! I never thought they looked particularly amazing in the films, but in real life, they clean up pretty well. ;]
& right as we saw the twins? We saw Tro & Chrissy go up to get their pictures taken! So we snuck some pictures of them, too. ;3
Anyway. The movie. I was a little annoyed that they left so much stuff out & changed some stuff, but it is understandable - some things fit better in a book & some fit better in a movie.
& so much CAPSLOCK!Harry! Ahaha! The "LOOK AT ME" scene was cool - go angry!Harry! & I am so happy they kept my favorite part in - the Weasley twins escaping Hogwarts. That's one of my favorite scenes throughout the whole series, & they did a really cool job with it!
Possessed!Harry was pretty fine, if I do say so myself. ;9 I would so buy into the Dark Lord!Harry thing if he looked like that!
Once again, Draco didn't have any big parts. D; That's okay - he better play a huge role in the next movie! He has to!
What else... Oh! The fights scenes at the end were SO COOL. I loved the whole turning-into-smoke thing.
This whole movie was so emotional. A lot of sad & angry emotions, but none-the-less, emotional. Overall, I think it was well done. I was really surprised to find it was only 2 hours long - it seems like they stripped the book down to itss bare plot & took it from there. I hope they flesh out Half-Blood Price a bit more. Starting tomorrow (Sunday, the 15th) I will be in the Wisconsin Dells. (With my whole entire family - we're renting two cottages.) I won't be back until the 22nd, so, uh. Don't contact me? Unless its really important, of course.

& I almost forgot! I got my "Oh My Juliet" single yesterday. I snagged the limited edition version that comes with a DVD of the PV & random little 'making of' goodies. It also has a dance version were it shows you the complete choreography!
