My New York adventure - part 1

I'm back from my trip. It was an awesome trip and I'm so happy I had the chance to make it. I've done my best to write a report of all the things Randy that happened there but couldn't quite manage to get it all together tonight. True to form, I wrote too much. Therefore, I decided to cut the report into two parts. This first part has the parts

Michael was so great. I'm sure he was tired after the show since talking for 90 minutes while at the same time being funny, must be exhausting. Still he was very nice to us and seemed to be pleased to talk with us for a few minutes. And loved his card to you, even if I didn't mention anything about it here :)

I agree... I like the scene where Randy asks about the dog too!
And yes, the audience that night WAS the best!

Glad you got to see Michael... we went to the matinee on Saturday and wound up missing him by waiting in the wrong place. By the time we figured it out, he had already left. We did love the show though!

Glad we finally got to meet too! =]

You are such a doll for writing this up and sharing it with us! Sounds like a wonderful big dose of Randy time. What a great play to first see him on stage in. (I have to admit I don't know what a "parking lot item" means either, hee)

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my report. It was a wonderful trip. And seeing Randy four times in a week was very nice too. The play was very good in my opinion and I'm glad it seemed to get mostly good reviews. Hopefully he'll get some new projects too and maybe they will be another chance to see him somewhere.

Your experience with Randy sums him up-- he's always running someplace else.
It's how he's been with fans from the beginning.
I don't think he gets it. That fans come with the territory.
I think it's siuch a disappointment. Fans coming from eveeywhere and he can't
stick around a while..

You got me totally wrong. Yes, he was in a hurry but he had informed us about having to run beforehand. And he apologized about having to run. On top of that he also knew he was going to see us all at the QWANcon.
I've had several dealings with Randy and I really don't have anything bad to say about him. Sure, he might not be the most social person but not everyone is. He's very private but he does make an effort in my opinion.
