I Suck at Journaling

Feb 22, 2006 21:28

I really ought to keep uo with my journal in a better manner. I don't even remember the last time I typed in here.

Oh well, hello to anyone that actually still reads this. I've got a lot of catching up to do.

I stopped working at Reznick around the 3rd of this month, apparently, I wasn't working out well for them. However, the temp agency found me a new place to work after only two days of my being off.

I really like this new place and almost everyday they show me something new. I really hope this job works out well. It'd be nice if I could get hired there at the end of the temp period if a position is open. The area is great. There's a Cheesecake Factory and Borders on the same block which is just right across the intersection since my building sits on the corner. My manga collection has grown a lot since then because of it, but I love going over there almost everyday.

I've been on a serious yaoi kick these past few weeks. Yaoi being manga/anime that depict explicit, implicit, or somewhere inbetween malexmale relationships. The tamer stuff is usually referred to boys love or shounen-ai. I've always liked that sort of stuff, but lately I've been craving it. It helps too that so much of it has come out in the past month. I'll be ordering a few volumes online Friday since some of the volumes I need aren't available in-store. My favorite right now is Love Mode. The second volume is supposed to come out on the 7th, but justmanga.com has it already, so I'm going to order it.

Another series I've really fallen for is W Juliet. It's about a boy who's cross-dressing on a condition of his father's so he can act. If he gets found out by anyone, he has to return home and inherit his family's dojo. However, a girl finds out, but she decides to help him so he can reach his goal and they fall for each other. I just love it.

Well, that's all I've got for now.
