So, we participated in the annual Little League Parade today, and like last year, it was very interesting.
Last year, a grand total of 10 people shown up for the parade. This year, 17, a whole week's difference. However, unlike last year, NOBODY from the drumline shown up (wow, it doesn't recognize drumline as a word)
At first, I entered the bandroom to see how many people were showing up (wow, it doesn't recognize bandroom as a word either), then there was fun stuff. My hair's long enough to be a ponytail, so I shown up like that wearing a baseball cap as requested. She had a lot of fun playing with it, putting a clarinet lyre on it.
When we actually started marching, some more fun stuff went down. First off, it's a parade for our town's little league, so not very formal, and we relaxed a little. Because of that, me and my friend were cracking jokes the whole parade while the clarinet line was closing in on us (it was below freezing, while we sang our drumline's cadence.
It was a fun parade, and I was hoping I could hang out with her afterwords. Too bad she already had plans for the afternoon ^^;
