cassiopeia. fandom. it's frankly getting tiring, i'm sure, to many. for me, i'm just pretty frustrated. i've not been a fan for a very long time. in fact, it's laughably short as compared to many of the current cassiopeia. however, that doesn't mean that i love them any lesser. so it's really strange, and rather tiring, that so many fanwars are going on. you get bashed for being a jyj stan. you get bashed for being a homin stan. and you get bashed for being an ot5 stan and they call you delusional and tell you to move on. so many disagreements and so many fights, sparked off just because of a difference in opinion. interestingly, this fandom is like a microcosm of the society at large, is it not? many a times if you are different from the rest, you get hated on. i really dislike the people who hate on others, or flame fellow cassies just because they are a jyj stan, or a homin stan, or they believe in something that's different. and people who fight back just end up sparking off another argument, another fanwar. more discord sown in the fandom and more lines divided.

i mean honestly, in the end, the people you fell in love with were the five. as a group, and also as individuals.

so i don't quite get it why people go, 'if you're a jyj stan, gtfo.' or 'move on, homin are the new tvxq. you're just delusional'. yes, i respect your opinion. yes, my stand might be different from yours. but is flaming or bashing on someone that only wants to love the five, or a branch of the five, a reasonable, mature move? it's ironical that cassiopeia is probably one of the longest lasting fandoms out there, so the average age of fans must be higher than other groups, but yet there's such a large part of the fandom that's so immature it really irks me. and some even find it embarrassing to be called a cassiopeia now, because of them.

'always keep the faith'. to be honest, i don't believe in this anymore. now i wonder if it's just a catchphrase, something that people chant just for the sake of chanting it. does jaejoong really believe in this when he puts it as his twitter bio? or is he just using it to fuel the fans love? i don't know, and i honestly want to believe that he still believes in it and he still wants us to as well. but ultimately, they're the celebrities and all we get are their images, a shade of their true self.

i am personally an ot5 stan. i am not a jyj stan nor i am a homin stan but i respect them and i don't hate on them. just because they don't support the five anymore does not mean that they are not part of cassiopeia. and just because i don't believe in aktf anymore does not mean that i don't love them as ot5. i admit, i have already accepted the fact that its virtually impossible for dong bang shin ki to come back as five. i still want them as five, yes, but i don't believe they'll be coming back together any time soon. they're not kids and this lawsuit is not some trivial matter that can blow over without leaving scars on both sides. even if they come back, will they be the same as before?

but i still love them as five, and i still support them as my ot5. because they were the people i fell in love with and that's never going to change. if i find happiness in the past instead of the present, then why can't i stay there?

it's sad how cassiopeia is so divided now, really. it's tragic how something so amazing and had brought so much happiness is now reduced to a burden for many, and fandom has only become something exhausting to them. honestly, why spread hate when all the world needs is more love? even if you are a jyj stan, or a homin stan, or a ot5 stan, why do you need to bash on the other party? in the end, you fell in love with them, not as a group, not as two or three but as individuals. and the others have nothing on you. why hate?

i admit i am not as mature as i'd like to be. but such actions, such flaming just because someone thinks a different way from you, is really immature and utterly childish. why can't we just all get along? red lights shine on the path to greatness, on the path leading to dong bang shin ki. they are the rising gods of the east. they are jaejoong yoochun junsu. they are also yunho and changmin. and they were dbsk, they are dbsk. but even so, above all, we were cassiopeia, we are cassiopeia, and no matter what they become in the future, we will always be cassiopeia.

we will always be one.

even if we don't feel the same, we don't think in the same way, we still love. all of us love. so what difference does it make if the people we love were originally the same, but later turn out to be different? love is love and nothing will ever change. will it not?

i need this out of my system, fandom rules my life, dbsk
