(no subject)
yeah, i'm sitting here, home at my computer on a saturday night...working on a PAPER, because i am COOL. ugh. at least i'm trying to give this procrastination habit a big kick in the butt. unfortunately i sort of wandered off to the TV where the Parent Trap (new school) was playing. i love that movie.
so today i drove over to the chantilly library this afternoon to get research on cloning and gen. engineering. I walked into the section where these books were, and these two girls (probably like freshman/sophomores) were sitting there and then as i got closer to section 174.2, minding my business and thinking about how much i hate papers, they looked up and just stared. so i stared back unflatteringly and i was like, um, ok. so then they kept staring at me. no, i'm not paranoid. there was no one else in this aisle!! then, i was weak and broke off eye contact and lost the staring contest. i was about to say something rude and ask what their problem was but then i glanced down at the books they were looking at and guess what the subject was!!! witchcraft and satanism! they were looking up spells! not just any, mean ones! then they looked back down and started muttering to each other and i was like...oooh shhhnap and picked out my books and ran away like an asian! haha no, not really but i felt uncomfortable.
but as one my friends says, don't judge. so i guess i need to start working not only on this procrastination thing and being less judgemental. what would you have done?
