So I watched The Price is Right kids' edition. Purely out of curiosity to see if it would suck. The last price episode I watched was the April Fool's one. I can seem to tolerate holiday episodes. IDK Drew's been getting on my nerves for the past few years; plus the show keeps changing. In my opinion not in a good way.
It seemed like the standard "couples" episodes with coupled pairing playing like newlyweds, mother and child (adult contestants), and those were the only 2 I could think of.
I wish they would have had this when I was a kid. I've been eligible as an adult contestant for over 10 years now. I would have been so good at it. After watching it for a few years I did learn most of the old strategies. Like spotting the "El Cheapo" on the board and such. And for some inexplicable reason knowing the MSRP of a desktop computer in 1994. I probably would have asked for a dog that was up for adoption, and said "Hi" to the models. Here is my big wheel spin strategy 55¢ and up stay; lower than 55¢ spin. I used to use this strategy when I played the facebook version of the game. I knew which games have bad odds of winning even before I read that online. Of course if I had been on a kid's version it would have been during the Barker era. He retired when I was in college and 23 years old. No wait that was the time I "took a break".
Also the number "2" is very relevant to my Price fandom. I started watching when I was 2 on channel 2 KCBS.
Here are some games that would have been good for the children to play: Cliffhangers, Check-out (old version), Race Game, Rat Race, Superball (retired), Push Over, Dice Game, Bonkers, Make Your Move, and Gallery Game (retired). Just kidding about Gallery Game.
My dad still thinks I'm too dumb for Jeopardy. Maybe I should start with Wheel of Fortune or The Price is Right. I'd be cool if we were both Jeopardy contestants in the same episode, and competed against each other.
Plus I was thinking about Price themed Halloween costumes that are really easy to make. I could wear a college sweatshirt with that iconic yellow name tag with my name on it. Price costume ideas are very easy to find online.
