(no subject)
You know when you hear a song you used to like and all of a sudden all the memories from years ago come back to you? You end up going through a phase where you listen to all sorts of music where you have to idea what happened with that band or group. Right now I'm stuck right in the middle of it.
Does anyone remember the band Joydrop? They were a "one-hit wonder" type of group with "Sometimes Wanna Die" a few years ago. I'm not sure why I liked them, I don't really fancy that particular song by them (sometimes wanna die), but they aren't half bad even now. It's different from what I've been listening to for the past while, but I don't mind.
Another group was Project Wyze. They were so weird. When I was 12-13 I went through this rap thing. (not the clothing, the music) I sat in the back of my religion classroom with some guy named Jason, and we used to sing all the songs we remember off the top of our heads from Project Wyze, eminem, witches brew etc. Once the teacher came up to us and started rapping, oh that was so funny. He even did this little jig.
Most people hate these artists saying they try too hard and they are stupid and what-not. I didn't care then and I don't really care now. I prefer that than the hip-hop whateverthefuck you people listen to now-a-days.
On another note, I'm trying to find a home for my friend's cat Romeo. He's so adorable but unfortunately I cannot keep him. Sabrina and her mother are moving in with Sabrina's step-father and step-brother. Both the guys are allergic so they have to give Romeo away. In Sabrina's words " If you had to chose between the love of your life and a cat who would you chose? I'd choose Romeo but my mom chose my step-father."
So hopefully I'll be able to find a good home for him.
