xblurry_angelx (Irene) and I went trick-or-treating tonight, along with her sister (Micaela) and 9 or 10 younger kids who Irene was in charge of. Irene was dressed as a serial killer (in jeans and a tank top, because serial killers tend to blend in), Micaela was Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz, and I didn't try to dress up. I decided that I would wear my regular clothes and if anyone asked what I was dressed as, I would tell them to guess. When they guessed, I would say I wasn't dressed as anything and just wanted to hear their guesses. That only happened at one house, but it was worth it.

We were too tired and irritable to sing songs this time. Pity. In fact, it was a relatively un-quirky Halloween. Still, I had fun. I also got huge amounts of candy (and two carrots), none of which I have eaten. (Okay, I ate the carrots, but they're not really candy.) For some reason, I'd rather brush my teeth right now.

BOO!

Did that scare you?
No?

*sob*

Does this?

I don't really like flying in the first place, because I'm kind of a landlubbin' coward like that. I like new places and wonderful views, but not the thought that the slightest thing going wrong could send me and everyone around me hurtling to the ground in a spectacular fiery ball. The thought of crashing in the ocean makes me want to start compiling a mental list of everything I want to do before I die. (That, or actually start doing the stuff on my 43Things list.)

And, well, I now have even more reason to stick to my landlubbin', cowardly ways--or just, you know, try not to think about anything that could go wrong, or if anyone wants to kill the passengers.

I need to sleep now. I have a lot of work to do tomorrow. First, though, a picture of Iggy Pop as a Vorta!

I'm not a Trekkie, but my parents used to be!

Happy Halloween.
