(no subject)
Ahhh! So long since an update. xD I found a job at Michael's (did I mention that already?) and I've been working. I wish they'd pay me more...and more hours would be nice. :/ I tried to find a second job but that failed. xD
Trying to finish Shino before Otakon. :X I still need to re-do Sora's pants and jacket. Gah. And wig. I have a new wig for him. Shino's wig is partially dyed. I have a huge thing of pink wig dye sitting on the desk, but I haven't had time to finish the job. Her costume is probably about 45%-ish complete. xD I have the top done, the black-cape-thing done, and the hat made. The top and the cape just need to have their edges all sewn up (alas, I do not have the spiffy machine to do that, so I've been pestering Matt to ask his mom to allow me the use of hers), annnnnd the hat just needs the design painted on it and the tassle-part made. I have almost all the supplies to make the tassle. Just need to pick up a few more things at the hardware store. :X Next, I will be working on her arm-warmers, because I can get those completely done. Once I get my paycheck, I'll be looking around for shoes. Other than that, the only other thing left with Shino are her shorts and her staff.
Kyle's keyblade is coming along slowly but surely. Putting down the first layer of bondo tomorrow/later today.
I was sick a few weeks ago, and I haven't quite gotten over it apparently. My throat has been bothering me on and off and I've had a steady cough for the past two weeks now. I think I might have strep. :X I need to get it looked at, but I can't afford to take any days off work. Arg. xD on top of that, I had an allergic reaction to something and my arm broke out. o.O Just one arm...it was weird. Its a "contact" allergy apparently. Been putting medicine on it. It is getting better, but it isn't going away. xD
