3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!

This one's Naruto. I'VE GOT TO RUN OUT OF FANDOMS EVENTUALLY, RIGHT?
1. Brave Saint Saturn - Titan
Gaara's face was impassive, but beneath the mask that was his face, he was furious. The sands around him reacted to his anger, spinning about in a whirlwind that could strip the skin off of a man's body if he wanted to. And he was very close to wanting to.
"Put him down," he ordered, glaring at the Water nin who was holding a blade to Kankurou's throat.
"No," the other man said, "I don't think I will. I think you should stand right there--"
He never got a chance to finish. With a gesture of his hand, Gaara's sand flew forward. It ran over the nin's face, destroying it utterly.
"I didn't know you cared," Kankurou said.
"I'm trying to learn to."
2. Great Big Sea - Barque in the Harbour
The mighty, and well-endowed, kunoichi gripped him roughly. "Take me quickly," she said, "For in the morning, we must part..."
"I'm sorry, pervy sage," Naruto said, "but even by your standards, this is crap. It's the same plot you've been using for your past three books, and it gets worse every time. Why don't you write something else for a change?"
Jiraiya shrugged. "I guess I just write what's on my mind," he said.
3. Roper - Fireflies
The office of Hokage was a heavy burden. It was not only a lot of responsibility, but it also meant that, sooner or later, you would have to sacrifice yourself for the sake of the village. It had happened to all of Tsunade's predeccessors, and when she got drunk enough, she was able to admit to herself that she was pretty sure it would happen to her, too.
4. Masterplan - Heroes
Gai was fast; faster than any of his students could ever have predicted. Even as they closed in on him, attacking in perfect unison from three different angles, he was gone, moved out of the way in the blink of an eye.
Lee, Neji, and Tenten landed gracefully, and followed Neji's gaze as he pointed out to them exactly where their sensei had gone. He was standing by a tree, giving them a thumbs-up.
"Excellent work, my youthful pupils! But you'll need to be faster than that."
"Plan 38," Neji hissed to the other two, and they nodded, and then started to move.
5. Great Big Sea - I'm a Rover
"Get me another!" Tsunade shouted, holding her glas out.
"Tsunade-sama, I think you've had enough," Shizune said, trying (yet again) to look out for her irresponsible teacher.
"Nonsense," Tsunade said. "I can still see clearly. I clearly have not yet had enough."
Shizune sighed. There was just no reasoning with her when she was like this.
6. Avatar Opening
The Nine-Tails struck suddenly, and hard. There was no time to prepare, no time to erect defenses or get children and loved ones to safety. The ninja who held the line knew that if it got past them, that would be it. There was nothing else standing in its way.
Everything seemed hopeless, and then there he was: the Hokage, like a beacon of hope and strength, striding out to meet it face-to-face. New energy flowed into the Konoha nin, and they fought twice as hard as before.
7. Barenaked Ladies - What a Good Boy
Neji was loathe to admit it (in fact, he never would, not even under torture), but Hinata was downright adorable when she slept.
She had fallen asleep on the couch, and for a moment, he wasn't sure exactly what to do. Should he let her lie? Should he take her back to her room? Should he wake her up? His training had taught him how to handle a wide variety of situations, but they had all involved people trying to kill each other. He was somewhat at a loss for how to handle his cousin asleep on a couch.
8. Gurren Lagann - Track 17
Lee took a deep breath trying to center himself. It was the day before the Chuunin exam, and his nerves were starting to get the better of him.
He was prepared in all respects; his arms were freshly wrapped, his pouches filled with kunai, shuriken and other useful tools. And he had trained twice as hard int he past week. But would it be enough? Would be he able to show them that he was ready, this time? Or would the jutsu-less ninja be dismissed yet again as a failure?
Swallowing his fears, he breathed out and stepped forward, beginning the day.
9. Jim's Big Ego - The Ballad of Barry Allen
Gaara was becoming frustrated with people.
He was trying to be less frightening. Really, he was. But no matter what he did, no matter what he said to them, they still acted as if he might lash out and swallow them whole at any moment. All because of the damn monster living inside him.
"It's extremely unfair," he lamented to Temari (one of the few people who didn't cringe every time he looked at them). "I didn't ask for this thing inside me. I'm trying to keep it under control. But they can't see past it."
"Eh, fuck'em," Temari said. "They aren't worth talking with, anyways."
10. TWEWY OST - Satisfy
"What do you want from me?"
Sakura looked confused at the question. She blinked at Kakashi, who stood upside down on a tree-branch, reading one of his porn novels.
"I...what?" she asked.
"What do you want from me?" Kakashi asked her. "Naruto and Sasuke are both obvious. They want to be as strong as possible. But I get a feeling that you want something more than that. And I can't help you get it unless I know what it is."
For once, Sakura didn't have an answer.
