I'm making an assignment for uni about internet and identity issues - Features from virtual communities users (chats and forums). Motivations and effects on their identity -.

Could you please spare a minute to answer these questions for me? I'd appreciate it so much.

User motivations:
• Type of community/ies you are involved in
• How did you find out about this chat/forum(/s)
• Your reasons to connect often

Effects on the user identity:
• Is your behavior the same in the virtual world as in the real world?
• Do you feel freer or more uninhibited when relating through chats or forums?
• Have you ever used fake identities, told lies, or hidden important aspects of yourself?
• Has your way of communicating through internet affected your identity and your way of communicating to people in the real world? If so, how?
