Dear Journal,
Wow, it's 2004 already. The year went by so fast...good things and bad things happened. Well, I promised you that I would make a resolution. My resolutions are to be a better student and become a more hardcore gamer! Yeah, w00t! I know that doesn't make sense. Gamers don't go with students. Maybe I'll be a gaming student, who knows? Anyways, today was really fun. My family and friends went to a big aquarium at San Pedro. The place was under construction, so I didn't get to see the whale...aww. The aquarium had all kind of sea animals. Fish(of course), sharks, jellyfish, turtles, eels, and many more! I loved the tortoises, they're so calm and cool. My mom fell in love with the jellyfish. The color was so elegant...ooh. One of the coolest things was the artificially reserved corpses of the animals. They had one of those deep water fish with the lights attatched to their foreheads. That fish was called "football fish," because it looked like a football. The most coolest thing of all was the whale bones. The first thing you'll say is "Jejus Christ!" Those bones are so huge! A 1 year old baby gray whale was like 15 feet long! I was so amazed by the gigantic bones...wow! Anyways, after going through everything, I went in the gift shop. My mom got a magnet and I got a turtle doll. The turtle doll's name was "Myrtle." He's my buddy now. After that, we went home. My family played board games like Chinese chess and other games that you never heard of. My family played video games too. We played Gran Turismo 3, lol! Fun day, fun day. I hope you have a resolution for the New Year too. Happy New Years!
