i went to Ujournal.org/users/xo_heart and dis is what it sed .. my idea my take forver but ima transfer all fo my entries to lJ or i dunno .. bie
What happened to uJournal.org?
Unfortunately, due to a lack of time in several people's lives and a few untimely events, uJournal has ceased to exist.
Who is About My Life?
About My Life is a site that has been around for a few years and will continue to stay very active. We were contacted by uJournal because they could no longer
maintain the site. They needed someone to take over the users and entries. We were happy to help the journal community.
What happens to all of my entries?
All of your entries are being transfered to About My Life (http://www.aboutmylife.net).
Will i have the same username?
No, your new username will be uj_username. Why? because we at About My Life already have users and therefore they might overlap.
Can I Change my name?
Well with the courts yes.... :) Actually free rename tokens will be given to all uJournal users so they can rename their journal to whatever they like.
Do i have to contact you to get my journal up?
No, please just be patient until the old journal entries are migrated over this should be completed by 09-26-2004
What if my username is too long?
The login boxes will be expanded to accomodate this change and you will be allowed to login once the journals are migrated
What if i paid for an account on uJournal.org?
Unfortunately that money you paid went to the previous owner of uJournal. I however will not get any of it. I'm mearly doing this as a favor to the journaling community.
I understand that you may be fustrated but it's not fair to myself as I get nothing out of doing this except hearing how you are glad that someone is going to get your entries back
Will the uJournal.org domain continue to function?
no, Right now it's on "try before you buy". The previous owner wants 700.00 for it. I'm requesting that people donate to come up with money so that the uJournal.org domain will
continue to function. this is the breakdown of what you will get out of it if you donate... other then the uJournal domain.
