Bracing myself for 24 hours of airports and airplanes...

Well, I am finally wandering back home to California after 3 fun filled months in the sand. Although I was pleasantly surprised on several occasions to see it rain while I was here this time. Sometimes if it's only a slight rain, or just when it starts raining it isn't so much raining water as it is raining mud. It's kind of a strange phenomenon, but there is so much dust and fine sand in the air that when light rain falls through it the dust and sand get caught in it and fall to the ground as mud basically. I had the pleasure of that happening less than 24 hours after I washed my rental car (because it's illegal to have a dirty car here, you can get a ticket for it.) I think I'll be passing through Germany only a couple of days before jadewolfxl will be arriving there, too bad the timing wasn't better, it would've been a great coincidence to have been able to see her and say hi in person. I hope you have a great trip out there jadewolfxl :) I've been there a couple if times, what I saw looked pretty nice and it was just the right time of year for me, winter, very beautiful there during the winter. I made sure to stay up for most of the 24 hours prior to coming to the airport so that hopefully I'll pass out for a good portion of the flight(s). I managed to even get something productive done on the trip, other than work of course, I was able to get my XBox fixed :) When I get back it'll be time for some mutant mayhem with my son playing X-Men Legends II, and some of the other games I got for it. Hmmm, what else happened, oh yeah, got a raise, which is always nice, got offered positions overseas for extended periods of time, which I turned down at this time, the pros just don't quite outweigh the cons for me right now. Okay, that's enough of an update for now, time to get a little food and drink before I have to head to the boarding gate, can't wait to see everyone when I get back :) damn I just can't help but smile tonight, lol
