Almost embarrassed to admit...
But E and I watched TMNT last night, which I automatically assumed would represent the death of whatever childhood memories I had. But, I gotta admit, it wasn't...awful. What turned it around for me was the fact that Patrick Stuart voiced a character. And, Crikey, if Patrick Stuart is in it, well...I can't say no. Did you know once I was in a building next to the building Patrick Stuart was in?? Oh, it made my life. Anyway, yeah, so I was quite surprised and impressed by the movie. I mean, when you have low expectations what can you do?
Speaking of which, Meet the Spartans, surprisingly not bad either! I actually want to own it. God I love Kevin Sorbo. I mean seriously. We went in knowing we just wasted $20 but it we both agreed it was awesome. Yes, there were some parts that sucked, but still, the good parts fixed that.
God I love Patrick Stuart. Our life size cut outs came!!! So, thank you to all who helped us hunt it out, E and I are very pumped. Except I creeped E out a bit when I took out Picard and started talking to it. But hey, he's gotta get used to this crap if he's going to marry me!
Wedding stuff is going well. We still have not sent out invites! Damn I'm bad at this!!! I think what I'll do is just take a stack over to B&N, throw them up in the air and run away. Whoever catches one, well, there ya go!
