I've mentioned once before that I play Ghost Recon online. Though I've
not had much time to play in recent days, I still appreciate it.
I am fortunate enough play with a group of folks
Phoenix Soldiers. A good bunch of fellas.
My absolute favorite part about playing online (with
Phoenix) is the
communication program that we use. It's called
teamspeak
and it's the
bomb. It's free so that's the best part by far. Other good things are
it will let you talk to up to 36 people at once! You get sub-channels
and al that jazz. You can even have passworded sub-channels. You can do
this anywhere in the world,
as long as they have a high-speed internet connection. My family has
actually talked about using
teamspeak
to do conference calls so we could save a buck on long-distance, but
it hasn't happened yet; I do have my own teamspeak server.
Often times I'll be online talking to 12 or 13 different people from 6 or 7 different countries...AT THE SAME TIME! awesome-sauce!
END!
