(no subject)
Hmm, what's the 411 since my last update. Hahaha--oh man, good stuff, my mom just brought me the perfect way to open up the entry. I was at my place, just headed into the parents place like 5 minutes ago. Mom is watching Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken. I go "I remember watching that movie a long time ago back in the old frightening house." For those not in the know--the old frightening house is the uber fancy palatial mansion the fam and I lived in prior to their current place. Anyway--mom just walks into the computer room. "Haha, you were wrong about the movie. It's from '91, we moved out here in '98." (try and understand that logic, I dare you) Right as she gets the sentence out, she realizes how incredibly absurd her comment was. She goes "um, nevermind" and pretty much pulls a Kool Aid guy from Family Guy (Oh no! Oh no! OH YEAH!!!) and slinks back out of the computer room.
My student teaching is very close to coming to a close. Next Friday shall be my last day. Within 2 weeks I should have my temporary teaching license. Got my final evaluation today from the university coordinater. There's a whole stack of categories, you're rated from 1 to 5 on all of them. 1 being "nigga, you suck." 2 being "a'ight." 4-5 being exceptional. I averaged a 4.8. My lowest score (out of the 40 or so categories) was a 4.0. AKA damn this nigga is a pimp.
I'm playing a concert in Bellingham Feb 15th. With Warfare? No. Minister? No. SupavyllenzNW? No. Tis with NFSea. Stephen and I talked a little bit about maybe doing some NFSea shows. We set up a day to practice, and before we have our first practice (as NFSea at least. I've jammed with Stephen periodically, like once ever few months), we get a show booked. Weird. Should be pretty fun though. Stephen does guitar and vocs, I'm playing drums. Getting behind the drums again has been fun. Plus, the Franken-kit finally gets its live debut! Rock!
Synthetic Minister promotional time is in full swing. Woo for countless hours of myspace adding. Tedious as hell, but oh well, a necessary step for world domination.
