Fandom: Tenipuri
Reading some crack fiction of Tenipuri and I decided to make THIS:
WHY I LOVE THE TENIPURI BOYS
Let's begin with my favorite, Echizen Ryoma. Why do I love him? Because he's a brat, is why. Because when he says mada mada dane, you know he's going to win. Because he WINS EVERY SINGLE TIME and IT'S BECAUSE HE'S GOOD DAMMIT! Because he has the captain of the tennis club wrapped around his little finger (and you all know it! screw TezuFuji! *ducks at tennis balls thrown by fangirls*). Because he's the series whore and can be paired up with just about everyone! Because he dresses well unlike some guy whose obsessed with violet shirts. Because he did the COOL DRIVE by boosting up using the referee's chair! Because he kicked Atobe and Sanada's ass! Because he won for four years consecutively in the US Junior Competition thing which everyone seems to forget! Because the freaking captain who everyone looks up just freaking asked him to be the team's pillar of support (hashira, hashira!). BECAUSE OF JUNKO MINAGAWA! BECAUSE OF KANATA HONGO! BECAUSE OF ENDO YUYA! BECAUSE OF DOORI SAKURADA! (Do those count? Hee). AND BECAUSE HE'S CUTE, DAMMIT!
Seriously, I love Echizen because he doesn't give up and because he recognizes his limitations and then just breaks free from them. Mada mada dane!
Next is Tensai Fuji Syuusuke. I love him because his eyes are closed. He's freaking gorgeous. I love him because of Aiba (seriously). I love him because he is not just Fuji Syuusuke, he's TENSAI Fuji Syuusuke. I love his thing for protecting and avenging people. I love his counters! I love his hips... uh no wait, that's Aiba ^_^. Moving on, I love that he's the guy with no real motivation to win and just plays for the heck fun of it. I love his almost Echizen-like whore-ability to a lot of characters. I love his Higuma Otoshi talents used in other sports. I love that everyone is too early to be challenging him. I love him for the thrill he got playing Echizen. I love him being the able to play both singles and doubles with relative ease. No, I don't believe he's sadistic but I do however think that he has a pretty set moral standard (and he luckily, he doesn't force it on everyone unless it's called for) and he stands up for them. I love his "brotherly complex" thing going on with Yuuta. I love him for Yuki Kaida and Aiba (did I mention that already?)
I love him because he's a little like me. I'm not a tensai but like Fuji, I like having friends and I like doing stuff with them and for them but I keep to myelf. I think I have a strong personality like Fuji and is fun the way Fuji is but still, like Fuji, I distance myself from people (my friend says I do this unconsciously) because I like being with myself.
And then Kikumaru Eiji. I don't really know why you wouldn't love Eiji. He does acrobatics whilst playing tennis. He attaches himself to people. He can adjust his play style to efficiently match his doubles partner. He can win singles! He has awesome red hair! He has that bandage on his face! He's all cat-like and me likes them kitties. I love that his best friend is Fuji. I love his hyoi! I love that he waits for Oishi to get better because no matter how awesome his combination with Momo or Fuji is, Oishi is Oishi. Doesn't that scream OMG Eiji is the friend you'd want to have? I love the racket twirl he does!
Eiji finds the fun in everything but not in an airhead way. I love it that he and Oishi have taught each other to look at the bright side of things. He reminds me that there is nothing wrong with being happy.
