Mother's Day Gifts

We all have mothers, and according to the Buddhists, we all were mothers once... Honour thy mother (and thy father)

The commandment is generally regarded in Protestant and Jewish sources as the fifth in both the list in Exodus 20:1-21
and in Deuteronomy (Dvarim) 5:1-23



A selection of handmade Mother's Day gifts. Bath salts (sea salt and lavender) in a glass jar decorated with crochet lace
and leather cord. 2 sachet bags of crochet lace and leather with lavender and lemon balm, 2 tea lights in glass. One with
crochet lace at the bottom edge, the other with a hair scrunchy made from crochet lace and elastic cord. 9 herbal soaps
made from glycerin, lemon balm, sea salt, and mint. Tied with braided cotton cord.

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” (Ex. 20:12.)

“Children, obey your parents in all things [I believe he meant all righteous things]: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.” (Col. 3:20.)

This is in memory of my own mother who passed away over a year ago now. R.I.P.
