If I Die Tomorrow

Two old bankers audit past accounts
"I will in my property, to my inheritance"
How much? So, what's in it for me? Not much.
So, if it be thy will, I will own nothing.
Just another no body in a safety deposit box,
held in escrow. How much will it make, minus inflation?
If I take the amount out now, for living reasons,
I won't even to able to afford a hole in the ground.
How many bedrooms did I need for that, just to build an empty nest?
My nest egg is scrambled and fried, over easy... minus the interest-%
Minus the fee-$. It hasn't been easy to spot what they did with the money yet.
They are taking tally of each nick and penny to direct in their interest,
with my personal sweat, and my personal possessions; A house I had title to
in need of repair; A car I bought, now sold for scrap; And this aging corpse,
ready for dead. And that, my friends, is the sum of my fortunes and my providence.
Overheard over coffee, now I need to go transfer my savings over to my chequing again ~psp

Sitting at the clubhouse, awaiting my coffee & sandwich...
