The Dual Nature of God (poem)

Feb 03, 2024 12:18

God is still there, even when he isn’t
Is God everywhere, even when he isn’t?
What is the nature of God the creator?
Is he both good and bad, nature or nurture?
Guilty as charged ! Where is God? No one knows..
Maybe God isn’t, yet by all appearance, God is, so which is it?
Neither and both. It seems the Lord taketh only to give it away…
Hopefully you will be standing in the path of his generosity,
Not his wrath, for both are akin to diversity and luck.
When we win, we call that destiny, when we lose,
We call that fate. The irony is that, what is true
Is not known until after the fact, hindsight
Or double-vision, depending on how
You look at it.

Little sparrow on the rooftop,
Sitting on the house, homeless,
Without a feathered nest
Like a people of God without a home
Singing in the wilderness
Shall I run to your arms
trembling for fear of dying
Or continue to sing
Without memory or doing
And breather without trying
I do not deny Christ’s love
And know that he is the only way
Without strength, I wither like grass
Unable to eat, set apart, left for dan
Like the sling in the grave
Repulsed by friends
Suffering in pain in despair
A song, which is filled with
Lament and painful remembering
Knows no rest, I moan with a raging roar!

Under what circumstance must we exist?

God doesn’t look at life the same way.
Life is a prayer waiting to be lived.
A song with is filled with lament
And painful remembering
Life knows no rest.
I moan with a raging roar!
In his humble petition, God remains silent
To hear God, don’t talk. Be quiet…

You may petition the Lord with prayer,
So, act as though he is.
And miracles can and will happen. ~psp
