No friends available to meet up, mailed out the Christmas parcels to the grandkids. Still dealing with vehicle repairs.
Today, the barista seems sheepish, nervous, overwhelmed, lots of order being processed by one. I know how it feels to be the one person on whom
the world revolves for solving its problems. Well, my world anyway. So, the usual.. However, what I got was more like Americano with extra crème,
so twice the liquid, but instead of asking here to remake it, I just let it go and thanked her and said, have a good rest of your day. Americano, it is !!
I could see she was stressed.
The air is warmed up and it's been spitting rain intermittently, cloudy and grey, enough to make anybody depressed, but at least it's not winter yet!
* No snow flurries, touch the ground *. November is the rainy season here at the wet coast. Ironically, lots of indo-asian immigrants live here now.
