I did not speak in tongues but had hands laid on me and to be honest it was not as notable as I thought being baptized with the Holy Spirit was made to be. You do know when the Lord allows someone to speak in tongues He provides someone to translate as well so that is how you know the tongues is of God which is something I have only ever witnessed once in my life.
