Snowfall

O, that damn snow!
Falling so slow
I can see
Every snowflake
I can hear
Every footstep
Coming so slow
Like the coming ice age
One flake at a time, falling
In time… slow but sure…

Some think it romantic,
Some think it cruel
Blocking us in
For a cold winter spool
Casting its spell on living
Creatures, bury us under
Force us asunder
Covering every terrain
With its blanket of weight
No, that damn snow
Will not hesitate
This time
It looks like it’s here to stay! ~psp
