This month the yard is full of spider webs, on our return
we came home to a spider factory. One day there were
Six spider webs covering the front of the house, when
A client knocked on the door, I was greeted with a giant web
Blocking the front entry, I got a broom and brushed it off,
Then saw another five along the front on the eve down
To the flower beds along the front of the house.
We were being cocooned! Today I had coffee
With my art friend, He said he talked of a story
About a lady who had a near death experience.
He’s into that for some reason and pleasures in it.
To the point he’s had psychic readings done
To connect with his ex who passed on years before.
So the sweet hitchhiker walking along a highway
Met with a big semi-truck, deer in the headlights
She thought… I wonder if that driver can see me?
I guess not, because she said she saw a body lying
On the highway a ways away, and went to look,
Only to find her own body laying on the pavement.
So she describes the sensations around rescue
And being treated at hospital emergency, stuck
In a coma observing herself, being healed by mercy.
As I listened to Da, he sat in the sun, spidery threads
Emanating from his white hair. Overweight old guy
With long spidery hairs glowing in the sun,
Glistening in the wind, hair extensions,
Tentacled threads ten sheets to the wind.
It was the damnedest thing I’ve ever experienced.
He’s told me of auras, but I just listened and watched
As he unraveled her story, keeping my observations
Well to myself, I figure he was already out there
Enough to not add to the story. ~psp
I guess we’re getting ready for Hallowe’en front door
Spider blocking our doorway, trying to cocoon the house
The front of the house was covered with spiders busy weaving
Overweight old guy spider threads emanating from his white hair
Happy Hallowe'en! Wait it still not Thanksgiving yet!
