Also known as Glauert’s sea dragon, is a real marine animal that is found only in the waters of southern Australia. Leafy Sea Dragons are in the family Syngnathidae, which also includes the seahorse. Leafy Sea Dragons are slightly larger than seahorses, though the two share wing-like fins, and have leafy growths along their backs, underbellies and tails that allow them to blend in with seaweed and kept. via
