The very strange world of Canadian pianist and composer Chilly Gonzales and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker
conjure up the lives of previous occupants of Hollywood´s Chateau Hotel Marmont, the infamous Los Angeles
hotel where this room 29 is located (with a grand piano, no less), are indeed quite sad.
Instead of pretzels and beer, they end up with pretzels and despair to end up with a more philosophical
examination of our transient species in these transient spaces leads us to examine our truth...
An inquiry into one such persona by the name of dear “Clara,” the pianist daughter of Mark Twain, who
attempted to rouse the spirit of her dead husband at the Chateau.
