Shakespeare, Anyone?

The Shakespeare Enigma (2011) and Cracking the Shakespeare Code (2017) Part One

Riddled with wit and mystery, Shakespeare endures for centuries, as insight into human nature.

Behind the controversy of the authorship of Shakespeare being argued to be that of Sir Henry Neville,
Francis Bacon or a group of Masonic Rosicrucians, equivalent to a tale of Knights Templar, a Norwegian
scholar finds codecs in the manuscripts which lead him to a Treasure Island, off the shores of Nova Scotia
in eastern Canada at a location called Oak Island. Parallel mysteries untwine to give us a picture of the
socio-political and religious underpinnings of 16th century Europe. With Shakespeare, life is a metaphor.
Some think this a project of Francis Bacon to teach Rosicrucian values to an illiterate public. While others
believe the writings of Shakespeare to be the attempt of nobility by Sir Henry Neville to satirize society of
the time. All the crossovers and connections between numerous figures, is compounded by there being so little
evidence of who Shakespeare actually was or that he actually existed. Even the original manuscripts are lost to time.

Petter Amundsen, is a Norwegian organist, who believes he has deciphered a secret code hidden in Shakespeare’s first folio.

The code reveals a treasure map where mythical objects are hidden. We follow Amundsen and Dr Robert Crumpton,
a sceptical historian, on their quest to discover the truth. This first episode examines the codes to be found in
Shakespeare’s plays with ties to Masonic and Rosicrucian elements and questions who really wrote them.

Seeking the New Atlantis, at the zenith of the Northern Cross 1703rc, Oak Island, off the coast of Nova Scotia
leads our scholars to the Tree of Life, in an impossible location in the middle of a swamp. In addition to
The Tree of Life, the subject of authorship and contributions or political and religious endeavours are examined.

And if that doesn't complicate things enough, consider this :

Interestingly, the dramatists of Shakespeare are often characterized as being feminists because of the frankness of Cordelia
in King Lear, the shrewdness or Portia in The Merchant of Venice, and the psychological manipulation of Volumnia in Coriolanus.

Nevertheless, with the sleuth of a Sherlock, these two scholars pursue the truth, whatever direction that takes them.
