What's it all about Alfie?

You might get people with a lot to say, who just aren't organized that way.

So where can we the people keep our shit other than some forgotten box in a closet?

The online journal was originally intended to give us access to our data on any device from any location.

The when server content hit critical mass, they turned that ship around formed the cloud.

In other words someone else has all your data and you have to login to access it.

You just gave up your rights to own your own life and keep your own thoughts.

Livejournal was called a journal for that very reason, exclusivity.

However, with the advent of cut & paste, nothing is safe.

The number of blogs has diminished greatly in the past decades.

Poeple who once used to blog, now chat on social networks.

Blogging on computer precludes that you are able to :

*do a login
*basic spelling including your name
*correct spellcheck when it takes over your text
*have logical and/or chronological indexing..
*have a modicum of organization skills
*have the desire to communicate something
*ability to type text and/or point and click
*ability to use hidden menus
*ability to differentiate between sound, text and images
*ability to post sound, text and images
*crossposting never works and simply complicates things further
*multiple sign-in ID is constantly getting hacked and compromised
*the ability to remember passwords and perpetually create new ones

Yet truthfully most bloggers stopped posting years ago and have gone onto twitter, instagram and Facebook..

Every previous digital entry gets pushed to the bottom of the stack, with hopeless search engines unable to find content,
such as on Facebook, you have to endlessly dig for it through chronological entries which have been fucked with and moved.
Although, FB is recently reposting your old shit from the past as "memories" you forgot you had and wished no longer exists,
tags allow bloggers to categorize entries by subject or topics of interest for indexing for future reference.

Here is the beauty of one such blog from 2014 still in existence : http://identicaleye.blogspot.com/search/label/artist

On Facebook or Instagram everyone is sharing and liking.

On twitter, everyone is broadcasting and nobody is listening.

When they finally combine twitter with youtube and facebook, it will be called YouTwitFace

social networking = hit send

googie, livejournal, techyum, facebook
