Heavy Fusion drummer Paris Hilton popped a few sequence trying to impress the boys by pounding the skins at the recent Montreux Jazz festival in the city that never sleeps... Montreux is a municipality in the district of Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland located on Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps. After the festival Paris flew back to party in her own designer night club in Las Vegas where it's still safe to get drunk and act like a fool without being arrested...
However on January 5, 2007, the owner of the club said that Club Paris will no longer be associated to Paris Hilton, but instead to the city Paris. Fred Khalilian explained that Paris failed to makes scheduled appearances at his nightclubs, and that all the problems started when she arrived six hours late for the grand opening. He told The Associated Press "She's created a circus for herself. It's all about: How has she screwed up now?" But he won't change the name of his nightclubs because "Club Paris" has become too popular. The first Club Paris which is located in Orlando opened on New Year's Eye in 2004, but Fred and Paris also plan to open their club in Las Vegas, New York City, Miami Beach, London and Paris.
Her next move is to star at other nightclubs singing karaoke so she can score free drinks and pick up underaged hippies for a night in Paris.

In the January 2012 issue of FHM magazine, Hilton gave an update about her second studio album, stating: "I've been working on the album with lots of other top DJs for a while now and I think people will be really surprised. It's very modern and very catchy; perfect party music". She has since told MTV News "I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO," and continued to say "I'm going with a whole new genre. I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we've just been coming up with the most incredible tracks." She also stated that she is working with Snoop Dogg and Flo Rida. It was announced in early May that the single, which is called "After Midnight", was going to premiere on June 5. However, in her DJ debut at the Pop Music Festival in Brazil, she premiered her first single called "Last Night". Having attracted extremely negative reviews after some videos were posted on Youtube.com and being dissed by the DJs Deadmau5, Samantha Ronson, and even Afrojack, she gained positive reviews from DJ Poet, fans and the crowd at the festival. As a whole, her set received mixed reviews. Hilton's footwear line was nominated for Best Celebrity Licensee of the Year at the 2012 International Licensing Excellence Awards.
