Big 10 is group of colleges that formed or were formed into one group, but has since added a couple of more, so that's why I was questioning if they call it the Big 12 now. :p
PAC 10, not sure what that stands for Pacific maybe? They maybe West coast colleges.

ok, now i see, the Rose is not the only bowl, the Sugar Bowl, along with the Orange Bowl and Sun Bowl, are the second-oldest bowl games in the country, behind the Rose Bowl Game..
what?!! how many colleges are there in the US? ..and this is mind-boggling..

between 2014 and 2015 the total number of higher education institutions had reduced to 4,627 institutions.
do all of them have football scholarships?

whoah! that's a whole lot of learners.. and footballers!

There use to be just a handful of bowl games, and now it seems like every business under the sun sponsors one. University of Minnesota played in one this year and actually won. :)

If they were all actually learning. :o
And now there is a push to start paying the sports teams at colleges because people see them as "semi pro" teams. UGH...
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are at college to get an education(LOL...). Why should the sports people get paid and everybody else doesn't? ARGH.....................
