All Life is Suffering
To add to the fun, I was out of pain med, pre gabolin and went to get a refill, but the pharmacist said the prescription had run out.
They gave me an emergency amount for 1 week and said they would fax the doc for prescription update. Fortunately I called the clinic
about another matter to find out my blood type, which they don't have on record, when the receptionist told me that the doctor wants
to see me about the prescription. It needed to be written in a formal manner, I suspect he needs to see me so he can bill medical
for the exercise, a perfectly normal procedure in my estimation. But it was 2:30pm and I needed to be there at 3:20pm to see him.
I didn't have access to a vehicle and was forced to take the bus there. It picked me up at 3:10pm, just enough time to get me to
the clinic. But in my stupor from taking the emergency med and trying to text someone on the phone, I was completely unaware of
time and distance. I got the names of the streets mixed up in my head and overshot the location by about 6 blocks at which time
it was already 3:25pm, so I phoned the clinic on a cell phone and they said to come in. I hurried along for 6 blocks with an
umbrella to block the wind. Wind and cold makes my face pain flare. So I did get to the clinic and saw the doctor, who asked what
saw the discomfort on a scale of 1 to 10. I told him it was 12. We agreed on a dosage after I told him that it had side effects.
Mostly it's hard on the kidney and upsets my digestion. So I take it with meals. It makes me groggy, and relaxes my body a bit to
reduce the pain, but doesn't completely work, since I still get flashes. He asked me if I travel to warm climates in winter. I
told him I can't afford to, and asked him to buy me a ticket, to which he replied I should pray to win the lottery, also for which
I can't afford a ticket. I have to borrow money from GF to get the medication, which is partly paid by medical. So part of the
prescription is to buy a lotto ticket. I told him I would pray for him to win the lottery and he could buy me a ticket at which he
laughed. Then I said, I will pray, if he wins I will expect a ticket. Then I asked if I can trust him. and he said, of course.
Warm climates are best. What is ironic is he comes from a warm climate and lives in fucking Canada. Duh. He's heavy into
coconut. Coconut oil especially and oatmeal. He live on coconut oil, oatmeal, and greens. He said he doesn't believe in the
blood type diet. He said it's a waste of time and sent me on my way back to the bus which came just as I stepped out on the
sidewalk, I waved it down and it stopped and I got home and took the prescription to the pharmacist. A three hour tour. Well,
I'm really exhausted having to go into the wind and rain like I did and my face keeps flaring, no matter what I do to it.
It's pretty bad this time. It settled down from January to June this year but flared up again when I tried to do some carpentry
this summer in the heat and smoke from the weather and forest fires we had. So that's the end of it. It's been a long day.
To top it off Nardo was on his Xbox all afternoon. He left pots all over the stove after cooking a huge pot of pasta.
I realized after that he made some for GF as well. I had the same idea, I thought it was his, so i made GF some pasta
as well. He left to his gaming buddies. I moved his stuff aside to get at the stove. She cleaned up his mess when she got home.
My pasta was delicious. His looked like his regular slop all mixed together into a huge pot, like leftovers. That was
the end of a tedious day that started at 7am. Lots of running around, taking buses, dealing with GF and Nardo emotionally
and nursing my pain in my forehead. Life sucks at the moment. I'm about to go to bed, but my face hurts like hell. I am
hoping it will quiet down so I can sleep.
Sweet dreams, my lovelies
