The Age of Reason
A new set of Ten Commandments that were to be etched into the face of the granite on the Georgia Guidestones monument erected March 22, 1980. The message to the people of the future was written in eight different languages for a “New Age of Reason”.
Yoko Ono, Ted Turner, Mikhail Gorbechev and many others have commented on how much they admire the Georgia Guidestones and their message.
Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Ancient Chinese, and Russian. The message in English reads:
* Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature*
* Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
* Unite humanity with a living new language.
* Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
* Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
* Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a one world court
* Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
* Balance personal rights with social duties.
* Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
* Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.
Sounds like the Utopic dream to me...
Made of Pyramid blue granite, the Georgia Guidestones are meant to withstand the test of time and to communicate knowledge on several levels:
philosophically, politically, astronomically, etc.
It consists of four major stone blocks, which contain ten guides for living in eight languages:
English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian.
A shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages’ scripts:
Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.
It is important to note that those last four ancient languages are of a great importance in the teachings of
