Biil McKibben at Powershift, 350.org states that Washington and now Ottawa are the dirty money capitals of the world. Change the money pollution of big corporations and change global climate.

Alberta’s fossil fuel industry is just one of many challenges facing efforts to fight global warming. “Oil sands are not the only issue. Anything associated with fossil fuels, be it gas, be it coal, should be questioned and included in legislation that concerns the ultimate goal of reducing world wide emissions.” This is our first blight on the planet.

Backing out from the Kyoto Accord is our second blight on the planet. A sardonic Prime Minister Harper backs out of Kyoto talks.

This, I am sad to say, is the stupidity of the country where we live.
