I have recently noticed many people seem to be so self-centered Oblivious of their surroundings, or others in their path Maybe I need refer to this as urban dysfunction There should be a penalty for that, trespass.
For instance, they are guided by (other) voices, while on their devices Be it smartphone GPS mapping, traffic tracking, talking or smart car backing.. When pulling into a parking space they seem to just land any old place Taking up two even three stalls, with doors flung open gathering all The kids groceries and passengers whom they’ve brought along So, there’s that. Then when backing out there is no shoulder checking Simply relying on the rearview vid cam for obstructions in directional reckoning, Which works against the operator who is dyslexic, left is right and right is left, In the mirror of their heads, they forget to look ahead or shoulder check And could be rubbing up against the vehicle to which they are next. In the throws of urban parking, I have noticed much side-swiping Brand new vehicles with paint scrapes on side doors or fenders Moving like turtles upon their backa, unsure of where they're at Maneuvering like drugged up slugs with snails on their backs Wait! There’s more! So when they drive in any lane they seem To travel in the blind spots of the vehicles next to them, again Unaware of shoulder checking to see if they are out of view Of their mirrors or vid cams in the adjoining traveling lane So, often they will cut in front of to cut off other vehicles So who grants them their licenses to operate these Robotic instruments of transportation, like Some badly programed video game ~psp
