“And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD,
between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD,
and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.” -Ezekiel 8:16

"For the Lord God is a sun and a shield." -Psalms 84:11
The astrotheological origins of Christianity and the solar nature of Jesus Christ existed from the beginning and
can be found in the Bible itself, continuing for centuries afterwards. In the Old Testament, God is symbolically
calle "Sun", (Psalms 84:11, 89:36, Matthew 4:2) -Dr Jan Zandee
The story dawns...
"Because I am an astronomer and a student of the Bible, it is glaringly obvious to me that Jesus is merely
another in a long line of Sun Gods. The evidence is right under the nose of anyone who takes the time and
effort to read the Holy Bible. D M Murdock has just given everyone a cheat sheet. Use it !!!" -Loren Ball
“The cult of Sol Invictus, the ‘Invincible Sun’, became dominant in Rome and in other parts of the empire
during the early part of the second century AD and evidence abounds that Roman sun cults influenced Christian
thought and liturgy.” -Dr Samuele Bacchiocchi
Mosaic of Christ as Sol Invictus or Apollo-Helios in Mausoleum M Rome
The “Deus Christ” of the New Testament is a fictional compilation of characters,
not a single historical individual. A complication of multiple “people” is no one.
When the mythological and midrasnhic layers are removed, there remains no historical
core to the onion. The evidence reveals that the gospel story is met historicized,
not history mythologized. -DM Murdock
