Wind Storm
This morning I heard something crash on the roof, with the wind howling outside. 41 SE gusting to 62 km/h. - I thought it was a tree branch, but no.
We went into the kitchen only to find... the wind blew off our skylight in the kitchen and we had to call the landlord to come fix it before it began to rain. "It's happened before," he said. He got the ladder, climbed onto the roof, found the pane and nailed it back. Lucky he was home and came right over, because it's raining now.
Last month we expected 70 ft high waves off of Vancouver Island on the shoreline facing the Pacific ocean. Today it's not as bad, but steady wind.
It's a windstorm with 60 km wind gusts.
