The Calm...
This is the part of the process that is truly surreal. When things are completely out of my control. Lawyers can't do anything, the kind (underpaid, underappreciated) broker can't do anything. Its all in the electric cyber-soup and Fed Ex's hands insofar as the money goes. Since my clients signed yesterday it is in the hands of the Buyers who are scheduled to sign (all parties) today; a reschedule from the Saturday signings. I just called the escrow officer and loan docs have not come in. One of the primary buyers (The Magnate) is a key member of the board of directors of the bank, so the paranoid little gnome that lives in me worries of back-office machinations on the Buyer's part.
