LOVELY.
This birthday has been nothing short of wonderful and great,
But papers are on Thursday and thats not very late.
It scares me how I've been so distracted these one or two days,
but its all good and I'm not complaining anyways.
I'm sitting here and mugging hard,
and hoping I won't drift.
But dropping a note here on my blog,
so you guys still hear the gist.
Today I had two special friends,
Who came up to my door.
Gave me a surprise and many things nice,
And so very much more.
At night there was a group of darlings,
who took time off their books.
To sing me a song and make me smile,
A night was all it took.
About ten minutes ago a big black man
Just walked in to say hello.
My darling brother, and best confidante
Gave me the sweetest card of all.
This 21st, I must really say,
has really been smashing.
I'm blessed from head to toe in love,
Its really quite amazing.
As you take your time to read this poem,
I'm probably back at mugging.
But I'll be back tomorrow with pictures,
Of love, joy and smiling!
