basically, Prof A acted in an extremely rude, unprofessional and spiteful manner towards a friend of mine simply because she started working (doing some sort of research) with a different professor. Prof A first told my friend that her honor's thesis was unoriginal and stupid, and then told her that he'd stolen it. There is a possibility, i think, that he was just being provocative. considering this particular professor, i wouldn't put it past him to lie just to provoke a student. anyway. it angers me that he thinks he can do all this and get away with it. I am encouraging my friend to speak to judicial board or whatever about it. grr.
