Does Alan Dale get cast on TV shows just so he can die of a heart attack? Come on now. The man needs to get a better agent.

(Although to be honest, his character is really boring and I don't care that much if he gets killed off.)

Nothing much. I'm hoping the writer's strike ends soon so I can get an uninterrupted TV fix - after I finish all my essays, of course 0:-)

But... I want the juicy details of your life!
How is the non-school, working world?

Don't get me wrong, I do have a life and keep relatively busy. But there isn't much to tell, because it's all work-related. Office drama due to clashing personalities, work angst because what the heck am I doing there?, genuine enjoyment because sometimes it can be fun and I've made friends, boredom now and then because there really isn't that much to do, and aside from work I have this and that to do. It's not much of a story, but it fills up my days! I'm chugging along, fast enough that I don't feel that life has become stagnant, but slow enough that I don't feel constantly rushed. Although time does seem to be whizzing by these days. I can't believe it's almost December.

Time flies! And I hope that your working lifestyle is as comfortable as it sounds. (Or maybe it just sounds good because I'm currently in end-of-the-semester rush mode.)

Do you get time off for the holidays? We could do some watching of the DVDs we all just bought. Or anything, really!

No time off except for the statutory holidays (Christmas, New Year's), but we could do stuff when I'm off work! I'm up for it!
