I can see clearly now......
OMFG! How blind was I?! I went and picked up new glases today. I tried them on in the shop and burst out laughing so loudly that everyone turned round and looked at me. As one guy said 'They work then'. I could read signs that I'd never even noticed were there before. The carpet was a distinct pattern, not blurry colours! I could suddenly see things that I hadn't even realised I couldn't see! The difference is amazing. I'd got so used to wandering round with eveything looking blurry that I thought it was normal.
I was having some trouble with walking while wearing them. My balance is a bit off and I kept falling over imaginary steps. I'm assuming this will get easier once I'm used to them. It's not like I have to wear them all the time. And I'm pleased with what they both look like. Went to Specsavers so got two pairs ;-)
Tomorrow I'm off on holiday! :D I've not been away for years and years. It's only 2 days by the South Coast with my Mum but anything is better than nothing. It will be so good to actually go away. I'm quite excited now. What with moving and reunion nonsense and everything else I've not really had time to think about it. I'll be by the seaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :D Even if it has no sand. Heehee.
Won't be around again till Friday so you get a lovely break from me. ;-)
