Unfortunately i missed PORCELAIN GRACE. i've seen them before though and i think they're alright. Not great, but they have potential.
http://www.myspace.com/porcelaingrace EACH REVOLVING DOOR are from Brisbane. Long way to travel. They were very rock. Did a cover of an Everclear song. Handed out stickers after they performed. Friendly.

Energetic stage performance. For some reason i don't like them though. Could be their attitude or they're whole Karnivool/TheButterflyEffect wannabe sound and image.
http://www.sleightmusic.com/ THE LOCUS SCENE
New track on myspace (instrumental track from upcoming CD) "Summer Rains" used as an intro over the PA. Very compelling.
Most of the songs were adequate and enjoyable, though perhaps not quite 'pop' enough considering the band seems to be aiming to be accessible. Vocal harmonies work well together, but none of the three males in the band sing outstandingly well.
"Eleanor Rigby" was covered a few years ago by Marilyn Manson affilliated band, gODHEAD, but presented slightly better here. Still, it doesn't seem like a song that needs to be covered nor do The Locus Scene seem to need cover songs... or maybe they do.
"Chinese Whispers" closed the set. Clearly, The Locus Scene's catchiest song, no wonder it has done so well in the triple j Unearthed charts.
