Summer Hill
Saturday, 08th of April

I arrived while Los Capitanes was already playing (therefore missing out on all previous acts performing at the festival). Mainly playing Ska, the band also incorporated reggae and hardcore punk into some of their songs. Pete Porker (of The Porkers) made a guest appearance singing on one song.

Zombie Ghost Train came on later than they were due to play, but they delivered such a strong and full performance that they can be forgiven for having to make us wait so long. Other than guitarist/vocalist Stu Arkoff sporting ska pants and starting the set wearing a leather jacket, there wasn't anything Ska about ZGT, despite headlining the Ska themed festival. It was all quality Zombie Ghost Train Psychobilly, with their cover of "Girl U Want" by Devo gathering a particularly enthusiastic reaction from the audience which was made up of both over 18s as well as under 18s.
