IUP wasn't liberal. It couldn't have been. A&M and the surrounding area are just really really conservative. Like, radically, painfully conservative. And the rest of the world is more like the Indiana area. And there are pockets of glorious wonderful liberalism, where sex is okay and people are allowed to be different.
I'm just going to keep telling myself that. So I stay sane. Because, if thats not actually the case, I'm going to have a very very hard time finding someplace to live that makes me happy.
